Tachipirina for a cure!

Agustus 3rd, 2008 No Comments   Posted in Health issue

I do not know why it is a fact that the doctors say to take the tachipirina only if the fever exceeds 38 to 38.5 degrees.
Only after pregnancy or continuation of the same or even during lactation, happen to be male, even with the cold and then, here understand that the tachipirina, besides being an antipyretic, is a painkiller, which means, when you start to have symptoms that they presage a state dolorifico like colds, sore teeth, headache, you can take a beautiful tachipirina, which now for me, because I like not supposed (joke), has also become effervescent, even if it amarissima as taste, avoiding taking medications heavier.
Of course, during pregnancy, use take the lighter, 500 mg, while in other cases is more effective 1000 mg.
I myself have avoided for toothache the synflex which is very strong, using the tachipirina, and other antibiotics for curing the strong cold these days.
Moreover, when that is the only medicine that helps our baby man to stay a little better when they have a cold and fever lowers immediately when the take.
It ‘really a miracle that certain drugs, although so light and potentially take even in delicate stage of life, that is when you create another life, can help so effectively in so many diseases of pain!
It also costs less than many other drugs, which better not have nothing, if not the gain of who produces them!

Is possible to donate the umbilical cord blood for research purposes or for clinical use?

Umbilical cord blood The blood from the umbilical cord is a useful tool for research and following article will show you the value of cord blood generally. Researchers are currently studying the capacity of hematopoietic stem cells (blood) which are found in umbilical cord to give rise to other types of specialized cells - such as those of the nervous system or the pancreatic cells that produce insulin. The blood from the umbilical cord used for scientific purposes comes from mothers who have carried out a birth plan and have decided to give it a result of an informed consent. If the hospital where birth takes care of such research and if the mother and ’subject to a scheduled birth, could be asked for consent to take the blood from the umbilical cord of the child.

The blood from the umbilical cord can also be generously donated to clinical use. Since 1989, in fact, are regularly carried out transplants from umbilical cord blood to treat children suffering from leukemia, anemia and other blood diseases. In the United Kingdom some structures of the National Blood Service collect and retain free samples of blood from the umbilical cord that are donated. Staff specialization, other than assisting the mother and the baby, collects the umbilical cord blood.

The blood from the umbilical cord which lies within blood banks is available for public patients (not related to the family of the donor) who need a transplant of hematopoietic stem cells. The NHS bank collects and preserves umbilical cord blood from children born to families suffering from disease, or high risk of developing a disease, so you may need a transplant of hematopoietic stem cells. In that case, the cells could be used both for the child donor has a fatello or any other member of the family. On other side it is possible to  treat disease using stem cell

Next, if you want more resources about this topic (umbililcal cord blood, cord blood bank and tech) i recommend you to visit Cyro-Cell or just visit Google to find more.

Why the cord blood is so valuable?

This article will show you the value of cord blood.

In the umbilical cord blood there are many stem cells appointed to the establishment of blood. These cells are able to develop into different types of blood cells and cells of the immune defense system; same time these cells are able to multiply indefinitely.

In the child still in the womb, these blood stem cells are located mainly in the liver, where the formation of blood during the first three months of pregnancy. Only towards the end of pregnancy the blood stem cells move through the bloodstream, in the bone marrow, where found their child. The bone marrow remains after the main body deputy to the formation of blood. This migration of hematopoietic stem cells from bone marrow to liver is the reason why, at the time of birth, these cells are found in large numbers in the umbilical cord blood.

The blood stem cells - with the express consent of their parents - can be collected after the birth and separation from the cord (from the placenta and umbilical cord), then frozen and stored in blood banks for this purpose.

These banks for the blood from the umbilical cord from anonymous donations and not related (public) must not be confused with banks cord blood commercial (private) that offer a fee to freeze the cord blood of newborn for a possible cure for any disease future of the child (because there is possible to treat diseases with stem cells). And for more information about one of these banks, try to visit Cryo-Cell, or just use Google to find the relevant one.

In the umbilical cord a treasure to be retained

Umblical CordWe talk about stem as a promise for medicine of the future. But they are now ten years that these progenitor cells, taken from umbilical cord blood, is stored and used for treating leukemia. The transplantation of cord blood is an alternative to more widespread marrow transplant. With three advantages: there are more likely to find a compatible donor, the levy is painless and blood can be stored at one hundred and ninety-six degrees below zero even for a decade.

Not always, however, the mother is willing to donate the doors open in front of him. It must first go to a hospital enabled. In Italy there are over one hundred rooms childbirth ready to collect blood placenta. When the cord has been cut, the blood that are left inside is squeezed into a bag. From here is sent to a bank, where it is analyzed and stored. The operations analysis and control should be made in short notice (within 36 hours from the levy) and require about a day’s work in the laboratory. When a bank is congested, or in the closing days workday, you may not be able to receive other donations. Despite having chosen a hospital enabled and having all the requirements to donate, a mother is then faced with a refusal for technical reasons. The amount of stem contained in a given is not very high. It is generally sufficient only for individuals around fifty kilos of weight, mainly children.
